Licensing of import of medical equipment Kazakhstan
Licensing of import of medical equipment in Kazakhstan is a mandatory procedure for importation of certain types of medical equipment into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan in order to provide the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan with high-quality and safe medical equipment that falls under special control when imported into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
What types of goods and products are subject to licensing:
Certain types of goods and products, which are subject to export control in accordance with Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 104 dated 05 February 2008 “On Approval of the Nomenclature (List) of Products Subject to Export Control” and Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission No. 30 dated 21 April 2015 “On Measures of Non-Tariff Regulation”, are subject to licensing.

- Medical X-ray mammography systems
- Medical CT scanners
- Medical/dental X-ray equipment
- Medical angiography X-ray equipment
- Magnetic resonance tomography systems (MRI)
- Medical ultrasonic densitometers
- Medical devices for ultrasound examination
- MRI coils
- Electrosurgical high-frequency (EHHF) devices, etc
